We brought you the exclusive confirmation that the iPad 2 UK launch is not delayed yesterday, but Apple has double-confirmed it today with a press release to that effect. The iPad 2 will go on sale in the UK on Friday 25 March, with online orders opening at 01.00 and Apple Stores selling the tablet from 17.00. iPad 2 UK pricing starts at £399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only model, and jumps up to £659 for the 64GB Wi-Fi + 3G edition. iPad 2s all 'round! Other models are priced as follows: 32GB Wi-Fi only at £479, 64GB Wi-Fi only at £559, 16GB Wi-Fi + 3G at £499 and 32GB Wi-Fi + 3G at £579. This puts the iPad 2 launch pricing around £40 lower than the original iPad was when it launched. Bargain. Most of Europe will also be getting the iPad 2 on Friday, including the Czech Republic ( no, really! ), as will New Zealand, Australia and Mexico.
