Despite a hefty dose of speculation that the iPad 2 launch will be delayed in the UK, an Apple spokesperson has confirmed to TechRadar it is still on for Friday. Many suspected that the launch of the skinny new Apple tablet would be pushed back due to stock demand in the US – a similar thing happened with the launch of the first iPad last year. However, Apple told us, "Everything that is on the website still holds true; the website says 25 March and that's when it'll be." T minus four days Other countries are looking at a delay to the much-lauded iPad 2 – the Japanese and Czech launches have been pushed back to 25 April. In the US, where the iPad 2 went on sale on 11 March , demand for the double-camera'd, A5 chip-toting tablet has been phenomenal, with sales hitting 300,000 units on the first day alone. Will we be going iPad-crazy on 25 March? Youbetcha. TechRadar will be out in force reporting on all the hilarious queue-based shenanigans and hopefully nabbing further questionable comments from bemused policemen .
